Here is a list of our most frequently asked questions. If you do not find the question you are looking for please feel free to contact us and we will try to assist you in any way we can. We are currently not carrying the Thompson Chain Bible., All of our Bibles use the Cambridge text except for those labeled as “Classic,” which uses the Oxford text. No. We do not carry the PCE because it lowercases the “s” in I John 5:8 and we believe, based on the context of I John 5:6, the “Spirit” should be capitalized. Please see this letter from Cambridge. For more information, please contact us. These are both the same text and they are also known as the Standard text. It is an out-of-print Cambridge text, determined to be ‘pure\’ by Mr. Verschuur, a young and ambitious Pentecostal man from Australia. His research is fairly exhaustive, and he is to be commended for it. But his conclusions, that the Cambridge text he uses is in all points superior to other Cambridge texts, cannot be defended, at every point. On these points he relies on his ‘Pentecostal’ experiences to defend them, as described in his book, “Guide to the Pure Cambridge Edition of the King James Bible.” The only difference between each type of leather is the texture. The Basic series is Natural cowhide, which has the natural grain. The Executive series is ironed calfskin, The iron plate process smoothes out the highs and lows of the hide but does not correct the natural grain. and the Signature series is also a top grain cowhide that is not as flexible as the Executive. The Signature series is a thicker piece of leather that still has the natural grains found in the hide. Not thick like a belt, but you can tell it is a nice piece of leather. They’re each very soft and top quality. All of our leathers are of a different quality than most Bible manufactures because of the style of binding that we do. The thinner, embossed leathers today found at the bookstore, feel like a thin piece of cardboard. Because ours are lined with imitation leather, instead of paper they are more flexible and last longer. Our Signatures series is all made and produced in the United States of America. Our Basic and Executive leathers are imported from Mexico. When we enlarge the typesize, it is not possible to produce a small book. The pages of the Bible would be too thin and it would not be possible to turn them. At this time we do not index Bible.
